Bell Textron has delivered the first two Bell 505 Jet Ranger X multi-role helicopters to the Indonesian Navy.
These helicopters will primarily be used for training and liaison duties and will be assigned to the Navy’s Puspenerbal Flight Center.
The Indonesian Navy or Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut has ordered four of these helicopters.
The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is a light helicopter built by Bell Textron Canada, a single-engine helicopter capable of reaching a maximum speed of 230 km/h with a range of over 600 km.
Besides the pilot, the 505 Jet Ranger X can carry a maximum of 4 passengers or carry a maximum of 680 kg of cargo.
